چکیده
Abstract Cavitation generation methods have been used in multifarious directions because of their diversity, and numerous studies discussions conducted on cavitation methods. This study aims to explore the generating mechanism evolution law volume alternate (VAC). In VAC, liquid water is placed an airtight container with a variable volume. As alternately changes, inside continues cavitate. Then, mixture turbulence model in-cylinder dynamic grid are adopted conduct computational fluid dynamics simulation cavitation. simulation, cloud images at seven heights central axis monitored, phenomenon height eccentricity analyzed detail. By employing flow visualization method, revealed. The synergistic effects experiments high-speed camera capturing confirm correctness results. experiment, change stroke set 20 mm, frequency 18 Hz, shooting 10000 FPS. experimental results indicate that position has reasonable during whole cycle cloud. Also, alternation corresponds generation, development, collapse stages bubbles.

Fission of Collapsing Cavitation Bubbles
High-speed observations (for example, Lauterborn and Bolle 1975, Tomita and Shima 1990, Frost and Sturtevant 1986) clearly show that though a collapsing cavitation bubble approaches its minimum size as a coherent single volume, it usually reappears in the first rebounding frame as a cloud of much smaller bubbles or as a highly distorted single volume (see, for example, figure 2). This paper exp...
متن کاملGeneration of laser-induced cavitation bubbles with a digital hologram.
We demonstrate a method using a spatial light modulator (SLM) to generate arbitrary 2-D spatial configurations of laser induced cavitation bubbles. The SLM acts as a phase hologram that controls the light distribution in the focal plane of a microscope objective. We generate cavitation bubbles over an area of 380 x 380 microm(2) with a 20x microscope objective through absorption of the pulsed l...
متن کاملNonspherical laser-induced cavitation bubbles.
The generation of arbitrarily shaped nonspherical laser-induced cavitation bubbles is demonstrated with a optical technique. The nonspherical bubbles are formed using laser intensity patterns shaped by a spatial light modulator using linear absorption inside a liquid gap with a thickness of 40 microm. In particular we demonstrate the dynamics of elliptic, toroidal, square, and V-shaped bubbles....

The fluid dynamic interaction of cavitation bubbles with adherent cells on a substrate is experimentally investigated. We find that the nonspherical collapse of bubbles near to the boundary is responsible for cell detachment. High-speed photography reveals that a wall bounded flow leads to the detachment of cells. Cells at the edge of the circular area of detachment are found to be permanently ...
متن کاملOn acoustic cavitation of slightly subcritical bubbles
The classical Blake threshold indicates the onset of quasistatic evolution leading to cavitation for gas bubbles in liquids. When the mean pressure in the liquid is reduced to a value below the vapor pressure, the Blake analysis identifies a critical radius which separates quasistatically stable bubbles from those which would cavitate. In this work, we analyze the cavitation threshold for radia...
